Reels and Windlasses

BAITCASTING REELS:

It is recommended to use low profile reels that carry more than 50m of line with gauge around 0.40mm (+ or - 65lbs).
It is not necessary to use reels with super brakes (drag), because if a big tucunaré hooks on its bait, it needs to release the friction, otherwise another part of the equipment will be overloaded (4kg of drag is more than enough).
Give preference to good brand reels and their intermediate / high value models.
Take 03 reels stocked with new lines. During the fishery you can reverse the line on the reel, leaving the most worn line underneath.
Before the fishery, take it for review and see if everything is in perfect condition.

SPINNING REELS:

It is recommended to use size 2000 or 3000 reels that carry at least 70m of 0.40mm (+ or - 65lbs) gauge multifilament line.

Opt for good brand windmills, good models and with a maximum weight of 250g, above this your fishing day will lose efficiency.

Before the fishery, take it for review and see if everything is in perfect condition.
